The Refuge is an Outreach ministry of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. We exist to glorify God and make disciples among the poor and needy by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Currently, we have three different outreach locations where you can serve. There's a weekly ministry to the homeless on Broward Boulevard, an under-resourced community in Pompano Beach, and our newest location in Pompano at a transitional housing program. At all three locations, we are engaged in relational evangelism, longing to make disciples, and continue in the ministry of Christ, as detailed in Luke 4:18.
"The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed." - Luke 4:18

We had a great day of ministry and music together, and served over 300 people who came out.
